Biography


Biography


Dimitri Joseph Moise is a NYC based actor, producer, and entrepreneur. Dedicated to a life of philanthropy and activism, Dimitri is a co-founder of TORCH, dedicated to uniting marginalized communities through arts entrepreneurship, Creative Team Member of The Leading Edge Arts Project, former liaison at Broadway Serves, Rotating Support Artist at Collaborative Opportunities without Limits and Boundaries (CO/LAB), working with actors with physical and mental disabilities, and a Director of the Board at the NYU LGBTQ Alumni Network. He is also co-founder and lead producer of Subito Politico Productions, creating politically, socially, and culturally conscious work that inspires larger conversations and calls to action, within our industry and with our audiences. “Empowering another means empowering yourself.”

December 2017

Dimitri is joining the Beautiful tour as a Drifter. 


November 2017

Dimitri is playing the lead role of Skip in Small Steps, a new play at The Lark Theatre.


October 2017

Appeared in the Book of Mormon on Broadway. Short engagement.

He was part of a staged reading of The Black and White Ball, a new musical directed by Hannah Ryan. Book and Lyrics by Stephen Cole and Music by Todd Ellison. Dimitri played the role of Lester.

Playing the lead role of Paulie Mortadella in the world premiere of Paranormative: A New Musical, off-broadway at the Kraine Theatre.

 


July 2017

Appeared in Superhero, starring Kelli O'Hara, at the O'Neill Theater Center, directed by Jason Moore. New musical by Tom Kitt and John Logan.

All Summer, Dimitri was shooting for TBS' The Last O.G., starring Tracy Morgan, airing in 2018. He will be appearing as a recurring character.

 


February 2017

Dimitri is the male swing for Joan of Arc: Into The Fire at The Public Theater. 


December 2016

Dimitri is part of a staged reading of Once On This Island, set to revive on Broadway, directed by Michael Arden.


October 2014

Dimitri joined the second National Tour of The Book of Mormon as a full-time swing.


JUNE 2014

Hear Dimitri as the voice of Scar and Male Solo in Honest Trailer's The Lion King.

Dimitri performed at 54 Below at Broadway Sings for Pride.


May 2014

Dimitri graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts' New Studio on Broadway.

Dimitri has his Broadway debut in The Book of Mormon. From May to September, he performed as vacation swing in all three Mormon companies.

Mash-up of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by the Andrews Sisters and Candyman by Christina Aguilera. Three part vocal orchestration by Dimitri. Performed at Broadway Cares Benefit in Chicago, Summer 2016.

A song on which Dimitri collaborated on with other cast members of the Book of Mormon. All of the proceeds went to benefit the victims of the Charleston shooting. Dimitri did all vocal orchestrations on the song.
